Re-entering lot details
Make, model, serial number and condition are recorded on site, then typed again for the catalogue and again for the invoice.
For industrial auctioneers
Auction management software designed around the real workflows of industrial auction businesses, from lotting and catalogues to invoicing, settlement and collection. We're at an early stage and talking to auctioneers about how they work today.

Where the time goes
Most auction houses run on a mix of an auction platform, spreadsheets, accounting software and email. It works, but a lot of effort goes into keeping those pieces in step.
Make, model, serial number and condition are recorded on site, then typed again for the catalogue and again for the invoice.
Flexible and familiar, but hard to keep consistent from one sale to the next, and often fully understood by only one or two people.
Invoices, payments, seller statements, collection slots and release notes. Routine work, but there is a lot of it, and most of it is manual.
Many auction platforms are designed for consumer or online-only sales. Viewings, heavy lots, removal terms and multi-site sales are often an afterthought.
Whether this matches your experience or not, we'd like to hear about it.
The life of a lot
The bidding takes minutes. Everything around it can take weeks.
Each asset is photographed and recorded: make, model, serial number, condition and location. Usually on a phone, sometimes on paper.
Descriptions are written up, photos sorted, lot numbers assigned and the sale published. Often by someone in the office, working from the site notes.
Buyers register and are approved, bidding opens, and late bids extend the close. This is the part most auction software focuses on.
The lot is sold. For the buyer, that's it. For the auction house, the follow-up starts here.
Buyer invoices with premium and VAT, payment matching, seller statements, collection appointments and release notes. This is where we think the most time can be saved.
We're looking at the whole journey, not only the sale.
What we're exploring
These are areas we're exploring, not a finished feature list. Which of them matter most is what we want to learn from auctioneers.
Organise assets, lot information, images and catalogues, with details captured once and reused.
Manage registrations, bidding and auction workflows in one place.
Simplify the administration before and after the auction: invoicing, settlement and collection.
How it works
We have substantial experience building auction software. Before building more, we want to understand how industrial auction houses work today.
You walk us through how a sale runs in your business, from intake to collection. We ask questions.
We share what we've seen work elsewhere and where we think there's room to improve. You decide whether any of it is useful.
If you're interested, we keep you updated as the product develops and invite you to try early versions.
